To return to light

Mind, a clear mirror,

Reflects not Buddha, but the world.

Bodhi in the dust,

Found in defilement's embrace.

Self, a boundless void,

Yet holds the universe within.

Form, a fleeting dream,

Emptiness, its truest guise.

To return to light,

Is to see the shadowed path,

Buddha, mind's own dawn,

Empty form, a dance of light.

회광반조(回光返照)

마음, 맑은 거울,

부처가 아니라 세상을 비춘다.

먼지 속의 보리,

더러움의 품에 안겨 있다.

자아는 무한한 공허이지만,

그 안에 우주를 품고 있다.

색은 덧없는 꿈이고,

공은 가장 참된 모습.

빛으로 돌아가는 것은

그림자 길을 보는 것이며,

부처는 마음의 새벽이며,

공은 빛의 춤이다.
